Happy Creative was founded by Mercedes Jones, a creative producer with more than a decade of experience producing activations at Amazon. During her tenure, she collaborated with teams across Amazon Music, Prime Video, Games, Wondery, and Twitch through the creative production studio Studio126, helping develop programming that connected artists, storytellers, and audiences through immersive cultural experiences.

She has led and executed a wide range of cultural programming including the Live on the Lawn summer festival series in partnership with MusiCares, as well as recording camps, album release activations, conferences, educational seminars, livestreams, and podcast recordings.

Throughout her career, she has worked alongside a range of artists and cultural leaders, including Billie Eilish, Mariah Carey, Selena Gomez, Giveon, Big Sean, Keke Palmer, Zach Sang, Tinashe, Nick Cannon, Isabela Merced, A$AP Ferg, Soulection, and Warner Chappell, Def Jam, the Recording Academy, MusiCares, and EMPIRE among many others. She is also a member of the Recording Academy.

Through her experience producing creative programming at scale, Mercedes witnessed the power of platforms to elevate voices and bring communities together. She also recognized a persistent gap in the creative ecosystem: many emerging artists lack access to the platforms, resources, and industry connections needed to grow.

Happy Creative was founded to help bridge that gap by building spaces where artists can share their work, access meaningful resources, and connect with opportunities that support long term creative careers.
